JANICE MEYER

People say that you are lucky if you like what you do for a living.  For me, it is so much more than that.  I was made for this.

In my career, I have had my heart broken so many times, but I would not want it any other way.  I have cried with mothers in their darkest hours, after the death of a child.  I have held children that have lost their entire family.  I have rejoiced with a village that has experienced the life-giving miracle of a water well.  I have run with children that have been noursihed after years of hunger.  I have prayed with women that have experienced freedom after years of forced slavery.

 

I am continually amazed at the opportunity I have been given  to witness these things.  I am grateful to work for Life Outreach International, a ministry that seeks to take the love of Jesus to the hurting in our world.  In my role, I have visited 64 countries, and hope that I am just getting started.
